Dioxins pose public health risk in China, Environmental Protection Administration blamed

Some environmental groups believe the EPA fails to appropriately regulate factories that emit dioxins. They believe that the EPA needs to shoulder responsibility for the incident and take action to locate the source of the pollutants.
So far, in response to the contaminated poultry, the EPA has shut down one factory that recycles toxic ash collected from steel works. The factory is located near the area where the ducks were found.
Ninety-nine percent of dioxins that make their way into the human body enter through the food chain.
