Fayette woman pleads guilty in Fen-Phen settlement investigation

Gray received $250,000 in the Fen-Phen settlement in July 2000, amounting to $149,549.79 after legal expenses.

Gray is the 17th person who has been charged in the joint FBI/IRS investigation of false claims in the $400 million settlement by American Home Products, maker of the drug Fen-Phen. The drug was taken off the market in 1997.
