Waynesboro police say 22-year-old Teofilo Romero Mora, who worked for B-B-A Masonry, was killed on Tuesday when a 400-pound steel beam fell 30 feet and hit him in the head.

Captain Michael Martin says they consider the death an accident and have turned the case over to the Virginia Department of Labor.

A labor department spokesperson said it could take up to six months to determine a cause for Mora's death.
