Kathleen Williams claims that her nerves were permanently injured from the chemical burn, causing the sensation of pain 24 hours a day. She must take medication everyday to control the pain, as well as wear specially designed undergarments for burn victims.

In her lawsuit against Denny's, Williams claims that employees of Denny's were negligent in their use of the chemical cleaner and did not warn restaurant patrons of the dangerous chemicals left on the toilet seat. She is suing the Denny's franchise owner for $25,000 in damages.
