Man Pleading Guilty to Federal Drug Charges Receives 5 Year Sentence

Candido Rodriguez, who pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute over 50 grams of "crack" cocaine in Webster and Worcester was sentenced to five years in prison.

Rodriguez has been in federal custody since his arrest in April 2004, after members of the Drug Enforcement Administration's High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force witnessed and recorded Rodriguez's involvement in four separate cocaine transactions.

The U.S. District Judge sentenced Rodriguez to five years in prison and an additional three years of supervision following his release.
