Shawn Norman died Friday at Circleville's Berger Hospital. He was transported there by medical squad after Ross County Sheriff's Deputies noticed he was having difficulty breathing. Suspected of grand theft and burglary, Norman reportedly lost consciousness and his pulse at the scene.

Norman was hit three times with about 50,000 volts from a Taser fun, according to Sheriff Ron Nichols.

A cause of death has not yet been issued. Nichols said pre-existing health problems and possible drug use are being considered in the investigation.

Officials are still waiting for a full autopsy report from Montgomery County.
