A jury found Djuan Edwards, a 21-year-old from Indianapolis, guilty of murdering Michael Solomon, and injuring Jermaine Foster on May 29, 2004.

The two individuals were shot after informing their neighbor, Michael Moss that Edwards was in the area. Edwards had allegedly shot Moss five times in the legs two weeks earlier, after Moss told him to sell his drugs elsewhere. After finding out that Moss would file criminal charges, Edwards returned, this time shooting Solomon and Foster.

On June 10, 2004, while Edwards was in jail after being charged with the shootings, Moss, along with his girlfriend, April Adkisson, who were both prepared to testify to seeing Edwards kill Michael Solomon, were found shot to death in Moss's duplex.

Edwards, along with three other individuals were charged with three counts of conspiring to murder Moss, Adkisson, and Foster. A trial will be held on November 14 for those charges.
