U.S. Intervenes in Whistleblower Suit Against HMO

Amerigroup Illinois, Inc., one of the leading HMOs in Illinois with over 37,000 health plan members, is being accused of fraud.
A former employee of Amerigroup Illinois, Inc. is accusing the company of allegedly choosing particular Medicaid patients over others in an attempt to make a larger profit for the Amerigroup Corporation.
Amerigroup Corporation has denied these allegations.
