Curtis Coburn, 41, filed his personal injury lawsuit after a heavy box from the truck fell on top of his head, causing a severe spinal cord injury that left his left leg permanently paralyzed.

At the time of the accident, Coburn was a participant in the Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center and was not an agency employee. Through the agency's rehabilitation program Coburn was assigned to help the truck driver unload, however he had not been given any training on how to properly unload the truck. The settlement from the suit will go towards Coburn's substantial medical bills and for his future medical care.

I am currently the plaintiff-appellant in a Personal Injury Lawsuit that is Pending in the 4th District Appellate Court. I was severly injured in a ladder=fall accident where I was forced to climb 18 feet up and hand wire so the Administrative Staff & Employees could listen to the Stereo on the loading dock. There were no hazardous risks, possible injuries could occur, strict information about what a Beneficiary will be ordered to do while in this Rehabilitation Center. I am at a standstill when reading about the Curtis Coburn accident, where he was paralized and his Attorney settled the Lawsuit for an amount of $4.7 Million , The Defense Attorney was Mr. James Ford , of Brenner,Ford,Monroe & Scott. A SETTLEMENT FOR THIS INJURY. Now comes the Andre Johnson Personal Injury Case , Where Mr. James Ford also represented The Salvation Army. Where do the laws pertaining to Gross Negligence Injuries and Who Is To Blame pointing to ? Reply & Let Me Know ! Dan
