Woman Sentenced to Seven Years on Drug Charges

Cynthia Duenas, 28, of Caldwell, Idaho has been ordered to serve seven years in federal prison followed by five years probation for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and possessing an illegal firearm. After her arrest, Duenas pleaded guilty to the charges.

Idaho State Police arrested Duenas following a search of her home, where they found the methamphetamine and the gun. She had previously been convicted of drug trafficking in Arizona and is therefore restricted from owning firearms.
