Taser lawsuit not filed soon enough

The suit had alleged that the device's manufacturer was liable for a training injury, but was dismissed because the statute of limitations for the case had expired.

In recent months, the company has come under increasing scrutiny after a rash of Taser-related deaths and a number of groups calling on police to discontinue use of the stun-gun.
