A major drug dealer from Washington was sentenced to 107 years behind bars for his role in distributing methamphetamine.

Martin Garcia, 40, was basically given a life sentence after being convicted of 21 charges against him. Among the criminal law charges were possession of illegal drugs with the intent to distribute, money laundering, and firearm violations.

Garcia played a major role in the distribution of methamphetamine, an extremely addictive drug, and even had minors help him to commit crimes.

Garcia earned a mandatory sentence of 80 years in prison after being convicted on four firearm violations alone. The judge was lenient on the other charges, sentencing Garcia to only 27 years for the remaining violations.

Many of Garcia's co-defendants were also sentenced to prison. However, their sentences were not as long, but rather ranged on average from 10 to 15 years.
