The Cessna 421B fell from the sky at about 6:30 p.m. and disintegrated upon impact. Firefighters found four people on board, burned beyond recognition. No one on the ground was injured.

Witnesses say the aircraft seemed to be approaching the airport for a safe landing when it suddenly began to flip.

Identities of the four victims have not yet been released.

This was the second crash near Palwaukee in less than seven months.
