Kim Basinger to Appear in Court over Child-Custody Dispute

According to court papers, Baldwin alleges Basinger, 52, ignored court orders and failed to inform Baldwin, 48, that she would be working out of town and that he could care for their 10-year-old daughter, Ireland.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert A. Schnider ordered the actress to appear in court October 4 to explain why she should not be held in contempt.
Baldwin and the Academy Award-winning Basinger divorced in 2000 after seven years of marriage. Their visitation agreement was originally set in March 2004, with the couple agreeing to split the parenting of their daughter.
