New Mexico Man Pleads Not Guilty to Drug Charges

Green, 45, was arraigned in federal District Court in Las Cruces. He has been charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of a firearm in the furtherance of drug trafficking. A jury trial is scheduled to take place next month.

The charges stem form the seizure of illegal drugs and a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic pistol at his home when authorities served a search warrant, according to court documents.

Green remains in federal custody as jury selection is set to begin.
