Casper Sabatino, 54, is a former accountant at Cendant whose initial whistleblower reports, along with others, helped to spur the investigations into what turned out to be a massive accounting scandal. Sabatino pleaded guilty to charges of wire fraud, and has been sentenced to two years of probation.

Anne Pember, 47, pleaded guilty to conspiracy in claims related to Cendant, and she has also been sentenced to two years of probation along with 200 hours of community service. Pember was Cendant’s senior vice president for accounting.

The former Chairman of Cendant, Walter Forbes, was recently sentenced to more than 12 years in prison and fines of $3.28 billion for his role in what was the largest accounting scam of the 1990s.
