According to Adjutant, a football thrown by students attending a Wilson High School car wash bounced onto a nearby road and struck the front wheel of his motorcycle, causing him to crash. Adjutant is suing for $4000 for damage to his Harley Davidson and is seeking undisclosed damages for mental and physical suffering that resulted from the accident.

The claim Adjutant filed in May 2004 made no mention of injuries. Adjutant filed the recent lawsuit after negotiations between him and the school district failed, his attorney said.
