Nuns Settle Personal Injury Suit

In March 2005, Sisters Frances Elizabeth Schmitz and Mellitene Gronloh were injured in the accident, which occurred while they were viewing a townhouse apartment in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
Defendants named in the lawsuit included the builder, Chippewa Valley Construction LLC, and property owner, Northern Edge LLC, as well as Rural Mutual Insurance Company, and United Fire and Casualty Company.
A trial for the case had been set for late May. Court documents show that the settlement was reached in late April.
