Only recently released from a rehabilitation facility, Lohan tested positive for a blood alcohol level of between .12 and .13 when she was pulled over by police, according to Sgt. Shane Talbot. Authorities were responding to a 911 call made by the mother of Lohan’s former personal assistant. The frightened mother notified police that an SUV had been chasing her vehicle. Only later did she realize that the SUV belonged to Lohan.

The 21-year old star was booked on two misdemeanor charges of driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence.

According to Officer Alex Padilla, after Lohan was taken to the police station, officers discovered a small amount of cocaine in her pants pocket. As a result, Lohan also faces two felony charges of cocaine possession and transporting a narcotic.

Lohan was released on $25,000 bail several hours after her arrest. Her lawyer, Blair Berk, released a statement saying that his client is safe, out of custody, and under medical care.
