Teen Charged in Shooting Death of 17-Year-Old Friend

Police charged 19-year-old Torrance Hennessy Robinson with second-degree murder after he allegedly shot 17-year-old David Andre Fields in the head on Feb. 16.

Robinson is also charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Robinson stated that he was playing with the gun when it fired, shooting his friend in the head, after which Robinson fled the scene.

Fields was taken to the hospital, where he later died on Feb. 17.

Robinson is currently being held at the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center. His bail is set at $100,000.
