Nick Bollea, son of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, received a limited driving permit last week in Clearwater, Florida.

According to a spokesperson of the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Bollea may use the business-purpose-only license to drive to and from work. Bollea's license was revoked in August 2007 after a speeding-related crash that left Bollea (17 years of age at the time) and a friend, Edward Graziano (22 years of age at the time), severely injured. Bollea recovered, but Graziano suffered a brain injury.

In addition to the driver's license revocation, Bollea's sentence included 8 months in jail, 5 years probation, 500 hours community service, and court fees. Given the extensiveness of Bollea's sentence, the permit - the result of extensive efforts by Bollea's attorneys to alter the sentence - may come as a shock to Graziano's family, which expressed its grief during the 2007 trial.

Bollea must follow the permit's restrictions in order to retain the license.
