Boston police are searching for the man they suspect murdered Julissa Brisman, a 26-year-old model, at a local hotel Tuesday night. Authorities suspect Brisman met the suspect through a Craigslist ad she had placed advertising massage services.
Police believe the suspect responded to Brisman's Craigslist ad. The two allegedly convened at the Copley Marriott Hotel, where officers later found Brisman unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to Boston Medical Center, where she died shortly thereafter. The hotel room confrontation with her killer appears to have followed a struggle - possibly an attempted robbery.
The murder occurred just days after two other armed robberies in the area. Both involved women who had advertised personal services on Craigslist, and both took place at hotel rooms. Police believe Brisman's murderer may have committed these robberies.
The Boston Police Department, which used surveillance videos to show footage of the suspect, has asked the public for help identifying the man.
