CSI: Miami Star to Divorce Wife – Seeks Joint Custody of Children

On August 24, CSI: Miami star Eddie Cibrian filed for divorce from his wife of eight years, model Brandi Glanville, citing irreconcilable differences. Cibrian is seeking joint custody of the couple's two sons, Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. The divorce papers also erroneously indicated that Cibrian is seeking spousal support from Glanville; authorities are amending this clerical error.

It is believed that Cibrian has been having an affair with singer and Northern Lights costar LeAnn Rimes since last fall. When rumors of the affair surfaced in March, Glanville stood by Cibrian. She and her husband then separated on March 15. Recently, but before Cibrian filed the divorce documents, he and Rimes apparently acknowledged their relationship by going on several public dates. (Rimes recently separated from her husband, Dean Sheremet, whom she married in 2002.)

Cibrian is known for numerous roles on television (including Baywatch Nights, Sunset Beach, Third Watch, and Invasion) and the big screen (including Living Out Loud, Say It Isn't So, and Not Easily Broken).
