Family of Drowning Victim Awarded Almost $3.8 Million

The family of a nineteen-year old man who suffered fatal injuries in a hotel pool accident has been awarded almost $3.8 million. The victim drowned in the deep end of the pool and was unable to be found right away because the water was so dark and cloudy.

The family of a man who died from injuries sustained in a crash on Interstate 15 has been awarded almost $4.4 million in damages. A Utah jury found that the state department of transportation and a subcontractor assisting with bridge construction were partially responsible for the accident.
