Actress Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley finalized the adoption of a 10-month old girl from South Korea. It is reported that they began the adoption process six months ago and that the process was fast-tracked because of the special needs of the child.

Heigl, 30, revealed on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that she and Kelley, 29, planned on adopting a special-needs child from Korea.

Heigl and Kelley, who were married in December of 2007, named the child Nancy Leigh after Heigl's mother and sister, but say they will call her Naleigh.

Heigl reportedly told a media outlet that she has always planned to adopt, and that she is disinterested in birthing her own children. She also reportedly described the adoption as particularly meaningful for her family, since Heigl's own sister is of Korean descent and is adopted.

Heigl plays hospital intern Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy, and she recently starred in a romantic comedy, The Ugly Truth.
