Oregon Motorcycle Safety Programs

Team Oregon is a motorcycle safety and training program that was established in 1984. The program is a partnership between the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Oregon State University. The aim of the program is to improve rider judgment and skill to prevent motorcycle accidents and deaths. According to the Team Oregon website, almost 100,000 motorcyclists in Oregon have been trained through the program. Team Oregon training classes are funded by ODOT and student tuition fees.
